Mr. Amr Aboelnaga PT
Amr Aboelnaga is a Registered Physiotherapist in Ontario with more than 20 years of international clinical and leadership experience in musculoskeletal and pediatric physiotherapy. He is a member in good standing with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and holds prior registration with the American Board of Physical Therapy (New York State), Dubai and Egypt.
Amr has extensive expertise in treating adults and children, with particular strength in orthopedic/sports injuries, pediatric early intervention, chronic pain, and concussion management. His clinical approach integrates advanced manual therapy, evidence-based exercise prescription, and specialized techniques tailored to each patient’s functional goals and stage of recovery.
He has completed extensive postgraduate training, including the Orthopedic Division Manual Therapy Diploma (Levels 1 & 2 – Upper and Lower Quadrants), Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) from University of British Columbia, and the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® program (Parts A, B, and C). Amr is also trained in concussion management, anatomical acupuncture, and vestibular rehabilitation for dizziness and balance disorders. Amr plans on continuing this path to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists (FCAMPT).
In pediatric physiotherapy, Amr brings advanced credentials and international experience. He is Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) trained from NDTA USA, Sensory Integration certified through the University of Southern California, and trained in early intervention frameworks including AEPS, IEP, and IFSP development. He has worked extensively with children with developmental delay, cerebral palsy and neuromotor conditions, delivering therapy in clinic, school, and community settings.
Beyond clinical practice, Amr has held senior leadership roles including Clinic Director and Clinical Manager in Canada and the Middle East. He has overseen multidisciplinary teams, managed clinical operations, and contributed to program development in both private healthcare and government systems. His background also includes work within public sector disability services, supporting child protection and early intervention programs at a systems level.
Amr is fluent in English and Arabic, allowing him to serve a diverse patient population with culturally sensitive care. He is committed to lifelong learning, ethical practice, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered physiotherapy services to individuals and families in the Ottawa community.
